The Manufactured Home Community Rights Act (“MHCRA”) controls the relationship between those who own manufactured homes and those who own manufactured home communities. The MHCRA deals with the unique issues that arise where people own their homes but rent the land. In March 2011, important new changes to this law became effective, and other amendments have been proposed.
