Item Description Back to top
Litigation of bad faith cases in Pennsylvania has continued to evolve over the past year. Our instructors discuss three significant decisions: the Pennsylvania Supreme Court`s ruling concerning attorney-client privilege in Gillard v. AIG, and two trial court decisions, one state and one federal, granting summary judgment to plaintiffs in bad faith cases. The panelists outline the decisions and provide commentary from a plaintiff and defense perspective on the implications for future bad faith litigation.

This course was recorded in April 2011 at PBI`s 15th Annual Insurance Institute, the premier insurance law event in Pennsylvania. Other sessions from the Insurance Institute are available at PBI`s Online Campus.
