Tax Considerations (90 min.): Pennsylvania inheritance tax; Federal estate tax; state law property rights; federal income tax; deductions; valuation of estate assets
Post Probate Initial Duties (80 min.): the business of administering the estate, including notification to all interested parties; record keeping; payment of expenses and debts; and asset and investment management
Debts of Decedent & Claims against Estate (55 min.): including who must pay and the priority and order of payment
Closing the Estate (60 min.): filing of estate inventory; final inheritance/estate tax appraisement; payment of specific legacies and bequests; different ways to settle an estate; family agreements; court accountings; audits; compensating the executor and attorney
