Item Description Back to top
PA Probono.net is an online resource that provides members with an interactive opportunity to obtain and share information and resources and participate in the Pennsylvania equal justice community. It contains a wealth of tools to assist advocates in representing their clients. PA LawHelp.org is a single, easy to navigate website geared for consumers of legal services looking for a gateway to legal information. It provides information on free legal aid programs and providers, individual legal rights, and links to social services and government agencies. Our instructors walk you through each of these important online resources and demonstrate some of the key features available. The panelists then show you how to utilize these resources in a hypothetical case involving an undocumented immigrant.

This course was recorded in March 2011 at the Pennsylvania Bar Association`s Pro Bono Seminar, "Reaching Out to the Neediest Among Us," a statewide conference aimed at educating attorneys on ways to answer the call to public service. Additional sessions from this day-long seminar are available at PBI`s Online Campus.
