Item Description Back to top
The Rules of Professional Conduct set forth the responsibilities of law firm partners, managers and supervisors over subordinate lawyers to ensure conformity to the Rules. Appropriate policies and procedures coupled with proper supervision can catch problems early before they lead to disciplinary complaints or malpractice actions. They can also identify the warning signs of professional impairment arising out of substance abuse, addiction, anxiety, depression and other similar illnesses. Join LCL in a discussion of how to comply with the Rules and possibly help a colleague in distress.
