A staff attorney with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission provides an overview of the Commission, including its jurisdiction, procedures, regulations and ratemaking authority. He also focuses on the regulation of energy matters, and the intersection of energy projects and the Commission’s jurisdiction. In the second half of the program, an experienced public utility practitioner explains the basics of tariffs: who must have them, what's in them, how they are modified and where you can find them when doing research.
This course was recorded in October 2011 at PBI's Second Annual Power Law Conference. Other sessions from the conference are available at PBI's Online Campus.
