Effective January 1, 2011, unreported Commonwealth Court opinions may be cited for persuasive value, but not as precedent. The PBA Workers’ Compensation Law Section has formed a committee to review every unreported case and propose to the Court that some be published. Often the Court publishes an opinion in response. In this course, two of the committee members review the Commonwealth Court’s Internal Operating Procedures governing publication of opinions and discuss the work of the committee. They also highlight some recent cases that the Court has reported in response to the committee’s advocacy.

Recorded in September 2011 at the popular Fall Section Meeting of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
