More and more elderly are choosing to live at home or with family members. However, without proper planning these decisions can create unintended tax and Medicaid eligibility problems. The family care contract is an increasingly popular and effective means for insuring that your clients’ goals are being met. In this course, you will explore the advantages and disadvantages of family caregiver agreements. You will learn how they work and pick up great drafting tips. Real estate titling issues will also be addressed. From life estates to reverse mortgages, you will gain a solid understanding of when and how to title real estate to best meet your clients’ objectives. The emphasis will be on practical, "real world" problems and solutions.
