Tort Reform in Oklahoma: The Effects of 1603 on Your Practice

    Bradley C. West
    The West Law Firm, Shawnee

The 2009 legislative session has resulted in what some are describing as the most sweeping, comprehensive tort reform our State has seen. It has been touted as opening Oklahoma’s doors to new business and expanded medical care. This program dissects House Bill 1603 and analyzes how it will affect your day to day civil practice once it takes effect November 1, 2009.

Mr. West did a very good job.  I particularly like short, specific, topical MCLE courses such as these.  I believe they are particularly useful to my practice.

Great job by Brad.  What Brad had to tell us was invaluable for the practice of personal injury law after November 1, 2009.  The course materials were very helpful and well written and will be a good reference while we all learn and adapt to these new changes.
