Social media data poses significant challenges in the discovery process.  As social media use by individuals and corporations grows exponentially, so too do the implications for litigation and investigations.  Recent case law raises issues concerning basic determinations of relevance and possession, custody and control; at the same time meeting the duty to preserve and obtaining, analyzing and producing social media data can be a complex matter.

Our panel of experts will explore the implications of recent case law and provide practical insights into legal and technical issues surrounding the management and use of social media data in discovery and litigation.
