• Review of NH RSA 461-A and relevant case law governing Parenting Rights and Responsibilities.

• Review of NH RSA 173-B governing domestic violence in New Hampshire.

• Review of process and procedure in divorce.

• The role of the Guardian ad Litem

• The process and role of mediation

• Practical instruction on client intake, developing evidence and discovery in divorce cases.

Who should watch this program?

New or inexperienced lawyers or general practitioners who do occasional family law

work. Viewers will be introduced to the basic laws, practice and procedure of family

law in New Hampshire and will acquire sufficient knowledge and skill to represent clients

in basic family law matters.
