With the advent of mandatory appeals, effective appellate advocacy is important to more attorneys than ever before. A panel of experienced members of the Supreme Court Bench and Bar will discuss current issues in appellate practice and share their insight and observations on the best practices in preparing and arguing
appeals.

This popular seminar is designed to benefit both civil and criminal practitioners and will include such topics as the new appellate mediation process, brief writing and oral argument. The seminar will also include an update of the Appellate Practice Manual, which offers a detailed guide to all aspects of appellate practice, including civil and criminal appeals as well as appeals from administrative agencies.
