This program will educate attorneys representing people with mental disabilities in proceedings that impact their personal liberties when they are considered by the State to pose a threat to themselves or others due to behaviors associated with their disability.An expert panel offers different perspectives including that of a psychiatrist, counsel for an individual and the State.
