COULDN'T MAKE THE TRIP TO CONCORD? THIS IS THE ARCHIVED VERSION OF THE LIVE WEBCASTED PROGRAM.

The most likely reason for a homeowner or renter to contact their insurance carrier is because of damage to the residence. So called "third party" claims, when someone is injured on the property, occur much less often. This program discusses the most common of the First Party claims, including water (storm driven and flooding), wind, ice, fire and smoke, and mold. Other causes of damage, which may or may not be covered losses, are also addressed.

The experienced faculty consists of attorneys for both the claimant homeowner or renter, insurance defense counsel, an independent insurance company adjuster, and a representative of the New Hampshire Department of Insurance, since First Party claim complaints are often filed with the Department.
