This program was originally presented by the State Bar of Arizona.   Please consult the New Hampshire Rule since there could be some slight differences from state to state.

Also, here is a link the the NH program that was offered in May 2006.  You are allowed to watch it for free, but no credits are allowed under the Supreme Court Rule 53.  Under the Supreme Court rule, programs are only allowed a three year shelf-life.   Until we can recreate another program, feel free to access the NH materials with this linked program:

Challenging economic times and greater access to self-help technology have increased the number of people who may not qualify for legal aid or cannot afford or do not choose full legal service.

These circumstances present lawyers with an opportunity to provide limited scope representation for clients who would otherwise go without counsel.

This online program addresses key issues:

  • Types of limited scope assistance
  • Factors to determine whether limited scope assistance is appropriate
  • Rules governing limited scope representation
  • Ethical issues posed by limited scope representation
  • Guidelines for interacting with clients, the courts, and other service providers

If you are considering limited scope representation for clients who would

otherwise go without counsel, you need to be part of this program!
