LegalSpan expands education network to Banking, Pharmacy & Corporate vertical markets – Creates New Umbrella Brand Name Manexa.

The online Continuing Education market is exploding and LegalSpan is positioned to capitalize on the expansion into several professional sectors.

“We are excited about increasing our Legal & Accounting Affiliate’s ability to distribute needed content through three new vertical markets”, said John Davis, President & CEO of LegalSpan.  “We created the umbrella brand name Manexa to provide a “Generic” name that encompasses all of our vertical markets. Each vertical market will have its own brand name and dedicated network, which will allow our affiliates to distribute content within their own network as well as across multiple networks.”

In an effort to streamline communication we have installed a new phone system, which has an auto attendant that answers with our umbrella brand name Manexa, allowing affiliates instant access to each department and vertical market manager.  We will be adding a live answer attendant in the coming weeks to increase our ability to provide better quality service to our Affiliates.

Other key changes and additions that will increase our quality of service to our Flagship Legal & Accounting networks include:

• Kevin Hodges has been promoted from his role as President to the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer for LegalSpan. He will centralize our technology implementations while focusing on tactical and strategic directions for our nationally expanding distributed technology operations.   
• Heather Eilers, has been promoted from Affiliate Manager to the Director of LegalSpan, Inc.  As the Director of LegalSpan, Heather will be responsible for the day to day operations of LegalSpan and implementing new processes and procedures to insure that we are providing the best possible products and solutions to our affiliates and their client attorneys.
• Our production department has expanded significantly to meet the increasing needs of our affiliates. Our production team consists of Reid Stillings, Anthony Quigley, Brian Overman and Jason McGoron all of whom will be utilizing their talents to expand our web casting services while continuing to provide high quality production services for our affiliates.
