AUSTIN, TX – BarAlliance a Division of LegalSpan, Inc. provider of member
interaction management to Associations, announces the promotion of Sean
Leung to Director and Mark Widener to Assistant Director.
“Sean has been instrumental in the success of
BarAlliance since its inception,” said John Davis, CEO of LegalSpan. “With
no apparent effort he has translated the deeply complex concepts and designs
put forth by our BarAlliance Consortium members into the rich and intuitive
application that BarAlliance has become. There is no question that under
Sean’s guidance, BarAlliance will quickly become the industry leading
association management software system available.”
Sean started as a developer on the
BarAlliance project and his leadership and vision were quickly recognized by
all as he quickly rose to team leader in 2005. His ability to plan,
implement and develop simultaneously was key in the successful release of
BarAlliance on schedule. Sean is a
graduate of ASU with a degree in Computer Systems Engineering. His
experiences range from working with assembly language and microprocessors to
development with C#.NET language and web/database servers. Sean formerly
worked for the Arizona State University Information Dissemination Section.
Mark Widener came to Legalspan with an extensive
Customer Service background after working 25 years with Xerox Corporation.
In those 25 years he worked at customer accounts maintaining all aspects of
their association with Xerox and later transferred to a Customer Support
Center helping Xerox employees and customers with issues ranging from
equipment dependability to software problems and fixes.
Mark joined LegalSpan in the Customer Support
department to help set up and manage the department when we moved to Austin.
“Marks ability to analyze a situation and deliver the most advantageous
solution has been critical to the success of both LegalSpan and
BarAlliance,” said Robert Reisch, COO of LegalSpan.
