The Louisiana State Bar Association Joins the LegalSpan Network

We are pleased to report a very successful first month for new affiliate, the State Bar of Louisiana. After changes this fall in their MCLE rules allowing for archived online CLE, they committed to LegalSpan as their online application service provider. We received their verbal commitment on a Thursday, had their catalog up and ready for their review on Friday and made the first sale the following Monday. This was a particularly satisfying project for all concerned.

"We were able to have online CLE available on the LSBA website two business days after we made our initial contact with Legalspan. Legalspan's quick response allowed the LSBA to make CLE accessible to our members statewide during the last two weeks of the CLE accreditation
year which was a real benefit to our members who did not want to leave their homes or offices to acquire that last minute CLE requirement.

Partnering with Legalspan also allowed the LSBA to earn extra income which would have been lost if Legalspan had not been prompt in its implementation."

California Local Bars

We have recently added 8 local California bars to our LegalSpan National Affiliate Online CLE Network. This has been done under the umbrella and with the cooperation of the California State Bar, our primary state affiliate. We are now very pleased to be serving this most important market at both the state and local levels and expect this cooperative effort to help both the State Bar and each local bar affiliate to better serve their members with meaningful and efficient online CLE.
