The Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) has become the fifth bar association to join in partnership with LegalSpan to provide continuing legal education seminars via the Internet for its members. The WSBA is the largest bar association that has partnered with LegalSpan to date.
More than 70 WSBA-CLE courses, varying in length from 15 to 90 minutes, depending on the topic, will be available by July 2001. The courses feature actual WSBA-CLE live seminar faculty presentations along with coursebook text, which can be viewed or printed. These pre-approved courses will be featured in an online catalog, grouped by practice areas and including a special ethics section.
Courses will be available on the WSBA’s Web site at http://www.legalspan.com/wsba/. WSBA members will be able to access the courses at their convenience, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
The WSBA is the primary provider of continuing legal education programs and materials for the 26,500 lawyers in Washington state.
