Now, in association with LEGALSPAN.COM, members of the Arizona State Bar can obtain continuing legal education online any time of the day or night.
LegalSpan’s System is a completely browser-based content distribution system featuring multiple bandwidth video streams, synchronized PowerPoint or HTML based slides, HTML based chat functionality and interactive learning components making it the premiere online education system on the web.
Multiple Bandwidth Video Streams: All LegalSpan seminars, both recorded and live, are broadcast using multiple bandwidth streams enabling clients with high bandwidth to connect at 100 Kbs or better while still allowing low bandwidth clients a 28.8 Kbs or lower connection.
Slide and Handouts: LegalSpan’s system provides full synchronization of presentation slides in HTML, PowerPoint, GIF, or JPEG formats. Slides are also preloaded which minimizes video buffering during slide changes even at very low
connection speeds.
HTML-Based Chat Functionality: On selected seminars, LEGALSPAN.COM uses its HTML-based chat application allowing all users tuned into a particular broadcast to share information, opinions and ask questions of each other or a staff person assigned to monitor this presentation.
Interactive Learning: Interactive testing and scoring is one of the newest aspects of LegalSpan online seminar offerings. LegalSpan now provides several types of interactivity as a standard part of its service including multiple choice, online
forums, scheduled chat sessions and the ability to submit questions by email.
