     2007 Legislation Update

    • LB 11 – Annexation bill provides that an owner of property contiguous or adjacent to a city of the first class may petition to have the property annexed.
    • LB 28 – Municipal property – clarifies exception allowing a city of the second class or a village to convey personal property to another public agency.
    • LB 302 (NOT PASSED) – amortization: would have prohibited the removal of nonconforming outdoor advertising signs through amortization.
