The overzealous advocate risks being pulled into a destabilizing emotional arena can quickly become overwhelming. The more those emotion-driven goals overtake solid reasoning, the higher the risk of deterioration in emotional wellbeing and adaptive functioning becomes. This program describes the foundations that psychological functioning are built on, the risks to emotional health when the foundations are overwhelmed, the warning signs that emotional health is beginning to deteriorate, and strategies attorneys can take to regain and maintain his or her psychological footing.
