Summary:

 

This program provides an overview of spousal conveyances of real property. Topics include: distinguishing between martial rights and vested rights and contracts between spouses. The program also covers powers of attorney specifically with regard to the power to make gifts, transfer or encumber real estate using a power of attorney and the importance of the acknowledgement.  The program ends with a brief discussion on the benefits of title insurance.
