Changing technology and elevated client expectations have caused the courts to re-interpret old rules and to adopt new ones. Increasingly, parties are using ethical obligations as a litigation tool. This is particularly true in the field of Labor and Employment Law where the interests of government, unions, employees, neutrals and management sometimes clash. This program will provide a theoretical framework for a practical understanding of the existing and proposed rules. Lawyers, paralegals and office administrators should attend to update their understanding of ethical obligations. This program will provide a full year of ethics credits, 3 hours.
