Abigail Albee New Hampshire Public Defender, Concord Abigail Albee is the Director of Legal Services for the New Hampshire Public Defender. Ms. Albee is a graduate of St. Lawrence University, and Suffolk University Law School. She has worked for the Public Defender since becoming an attorney in 2001. As the Director of Legal Services, Ms. Albee oversees the representation provided by 120 staff attorneys in 9 trial offices, the Appellate Defender, and the Special Defender Office. Defendants qualify for a public defender if they are found to be indigent by the Court and charged with crimes ranging from juvenile offenses to capital murder. Ms. Albee is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the NH Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the American Bar Association, and is the President of the Merrimack County Bar Association.
