Rene Valladares
Federal Public Defender

Rene Valladares serves as Assistant Federal Public Defender, Office of the Federal Public Defender, Las Vegas, Nevada, Chief/Appellate, Trial. He is NBTA Board Certified in Criminal Trial Advocacy. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Florida in 1987, and his L.L.M. in International Law/Human Rights from the University of Miami in 1993. His publications include co-editing the First Edition of the hornbook Cultural Issues in Criminal Defense (Juris Publishing, 2002). Rene is also an adjunct instructor in the Criminal Justice department at UNLV.
