Ms. Lohuis began her legal career in 2004 with Legal Aid Services of Oregon, where she specialized in public benefits eligibility and Oregon Medicaid. In 2006, Ms. Lohuis joined the Law Offices of Geoff Bernhardt as an associate attorney. There she focused her practice on estate planning and administration, protective proceedings, and Medicaid planning. In August 2010, Ms. Lohuis joined her law partner, Whitney Yazzolino, to form Oregon Elder Law, specializing in estate, disability, and long-term care planning. Ms. Lohuis is active with Oregon Women Lawyers and serves as a member of the Queen’s Bench Board. She has also served on the Leadership Committee and on the annual CLE committee.
