Megan E. Watson, Esq. Berner Klaw & Watson LLP, Philadelphia Ms. Watson is a partner with Berner Klaw & Watson LLP, a boutique firm practicing solely in the area of family law. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She received her B.A. from Muhlenberg College and her J.D. from Temple University School of Law. Ms. Watson is on the executive committees of the Philadelphia Bar Association Family Law Section and the Nicholas J. Ciprianai Inn of Court, and she co-chairs the Family Law Section’s mentoring committee and is on the board of the Young Women’s Initiative of Women’s Way. She currently serves as a volunteer attorney for Volunteers for the Indigent Program (VIP) and the Support Center for Child Advocates, and serves as a court-appointed child advocate and parenting coordinator in Philadelphia Family Court. In 2007, Ms. Watson was a recipient of the National Foster Parent Association’s Exceptional Service Award and the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania’s Pro Bono Publico Award. Ms. Watson has previously presented at the Philadelphia Bar Association Bench-Bar conference, Temple’s law school, Drexel’s law school, the Philadelphia Bar Institute, the Free Library of Philadelphia, Half Moon Seminars, LLC, and VIP. She has also co-authored “Whose Child is this? Second Parent Adoption in Pennsylvania” for the Philadelphia Lawyer magazine. |
