JAMES L. AUSTIN, JR. is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Chicago Law School. He is a member of his firm’s Board of Directors and is past chair of his firm’s Business And Finance Group. Jim’s practice encompasses a wide range of commercial, business finance, banking and real estate matters. Jim was for many years the author of the “Bankruptcy Practice” chapter of the Washington Lawyers Practice Manual, and is author of Receivership Proceedings In Washington State. He chaired the WSBA committee that drafted the Washington Receivership Code enacted in 2004.
