HON. RANDY DOUCET serves as the Chief Judge for the Lummi Nation Tribal Court in Bellingham, Washington. He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1994. He has a Master of Judicial Studies Degree from the National Judicial College and a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association. He is the author of the Tribal Criminal Court Benchbook and Tribal Criminal Court Clerk’s Manual both of which were published by the National Tribal Justice Resource Center in Boulder, Colorado in 2003. Judge Doucet is also the author of Domestic Violence and Tribal Courts, chapter included in the Washington State Domestic Violence Manual for Judges, published by the Washington State Gender and Justice Commission, Olympia, Washington, 2000, updated 2006.
