Ms. Timko is certified as an elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. She is a VA accredited attorney for veterans’ benefits claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs. Ms. Timko is a member of the Allegheny County Elder Law Committee, the Elder Law Section and the Probate, Trust and Real Property Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Timko received her J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law. She received her B.A. from Youngstown State University where she graduated magna cum laude, and a Certificate in Nurse Anesthesia from the St. Elizabeth Hospital School for Nurse Anesthetists. Ms. Timko previously practiced as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
