Raymond Gwenigale Igbanugo Partners Int’l Law Firm PLLC, Minneapolis, MN Raymond A. Gwenigale is licensed to practice law in Minnesota State and Federal District courts as well as the First Judical Circuit Criminal Court "B", Montserrado County, Republic of Liberia. He focuses on U.S. immigration law and Sub-Saharan trade & transactions. Mr. Gwenigale completed his Juris Doctor degree at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2004. While in law school, he worked as a litigation specialist for a Fortune 500, consumer lending company, where he managed a portfolio of litigated cases in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor/creditor rights and secured transactions. Additionally, Mr. Gwenigale served as a law clerk in the legal department of a Fortune 200 insurance company. He was also a very active participant in the law school’s Immigration Clinic, where he represented clients in court as a Certified Student Attorney. Before joining Igbanugo Partners, Mr. Gwenigale worked as a staff attorney for one of Minnesota’s longest standing non-profit immigration law firms, representing hundreds of indigent clients in a variety of litigated and non-litigated cases. In addition to having a solo general law practice, Mr. Gwenigale also worked for the Minnesota Department of Human Rights as an Enforcement Officer and a Contract Compliance Officer, where he investigated matters of discrimination and conducted audits of Minnesota State contractors. Mr. Gwenigale studied at St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He grew up in Liberia, West Africa and Puerto Rico, United States, and is fluent in Spanish. |
