John  Orlando, Psy., D., MFT Dr. Orlando earned his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University, and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Ryokan College, Los Angeles, California. He has worked in Community Agencies and in Residential Group Home settings with severely emotionally disturbed children and their families. Dr. Orlando worked in both Juvenile Dependency and Family Court for approximately twelve years, with a particular emphasis on child abuse and neglect investigation, custody and access issues, children’s adjustment to divorce, the application of child development research to custody and access decision making, and custody mediation and evaluation. Dr. Orlando is currently in private practice in San Jose, California and continues in the field of forensic psychology, investigation, evaluation, as well as therapeutic services.
