Karen W. Murray Public Defender Associated Counsel of the Accused, Seattle Karen W. Murray is a Senior Public Defender Attorney at Associated Counsel for the Accused. Currently she holds the position of Supervising Attorney for Seattle Municipal Court. She serves as a co-chair of the King County Bar Association Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Luncheon, and the Annual Community Elder Law Willis Clinic. She is also an active member of the State of Washington Minority Justice Commission, the Loren Miller Bar Association, the YWCA people of Color Oversight Advisory Committee, and the KCBA Board of Directors for Future of the Law Institute. Ms. Murray earned a B.A. degree in Sociology and an M.P.A. in Public Administration from the University of Washington and her J.D. degree from Seattle University School of Law.[December 2011] |
