Hon. Landya Boyer  McCafferty Magistrate Judge US District Court, District of NH, Concord Hon. Landya Boyer McCafferty serves as magistrate judge in the US District Court for the District of NH in Concord. Prior to her judicial appointment, Judge McCafferty served for more than six years as disciplinary counsel for the New Hampshire Discipline Office. Most of her career, however, was spent as a staff attorney for the New Hampshire Public Defender Office, with two of those years as an appellate defender arguing appeals on behalf of indigent defendants before the NH Supreme Court. Judge McCafferty worked for a short time in private practice for the McLane Law Firm and immediately out of law school, she clerked for the Hon. Norman H. Stahl at both the federal district and First Circuit Court of Appeals. She earned her B.A. from Harvard University in 1984 and her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law on 1991. 2/12 TL
