John M. Fentis California District Attorneys Association, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA John M. Fentis is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara. He attended Whittier College, School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 1976. He prosecuted environmental crimes for the Long Beach City Prosecutor's Office and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office from 1990 until his retirement in 2005. He has been honored by CDAA and the California Department of Fish & Game for his environmental work. In September, 2008, John became the Environmental Project Director for the California District Attorneys Association.
