AnnaLisa Chung is the Executive Director and co-founder of Dependency Advocacy Center (DAC) in San Jose, California. DAC is a nonprofit law organization providing court appointed legal services to over 1,400 indigent parents, children and legal guardians in Santa Clara County’s Juvenile Dependency Court. Ms. Chung has exclusively practiced dependency law over the last ten years and has represented hundreds of parents from intake to dismissal. She previously served as a trial attorney and supervising attorney with Associate Dependency Attorneys, providing training to lawyers, social workers, paralegals, and support staff. In addition to her current administrative duties for DAC, Ms. Chung participates on numerous systems level committees designed to create and implement best practices within Santa Clara County. Prior to beginning her dependency career, Ms. Chung practiced Family Law, Civil Litigation and Transactional work. She has an undergraduate degree from UC Davis and received her J.D. from McGeorge School of Law.
