Judge Mosman has presided over complex intellectual property cases and general civil and criminal litigation as a federal judge. He has successfully prosecuted multi-ton international drug conspiracies, multi-million–dollar money laundering conspiracies, murder and serious assault cases, customs fraud, and counterfeiting. His work includes joint efforts with the Hong Kong Police Department and various law enforcement officials in Switzerland, Canada, Thailand, and Russia. Prior to taking the bench in 2003, Judge Mosman was a U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon and Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon.
