Alan R. Parker is faculty for Advanced Studies in Tribal Governance at The Evergreen State College. Prior to coming to Evergreen, served as Staff Director, Committee on Indian Affairs, United States Senate. He oversaw the Committee’s work on the 1988 Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, the Tribal Self-Governance Act, and the Native American Graves and Repatriation Act. He received his JD degree in 1972 at UCLA School of Law and was a member of the District of Columbia Bar Assn. [May 2011]
