D. Jill  Pugh Law Office of D. Jill Pugh, Seattle, WA D. Jill Pugh received her B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and her J.D. from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College. She has practiced in employment law since 1994, and is a sole practitioner in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. She represents individuals as well as businesses, handling traditional employment disputes as well as drafting employment agreements, employee handbooks and policies, negotiating and drafting severance agreements, non competition agreements and non solicitation agreements. Ms. Pugh is a CLE Co-Chair for the King County Bar Association Solo/Small Firm Annual CLE, was recently appointed to the KCBA Board of Trustees, serves on the WSBA Labor and Employment Law Section’s Executive Committee, has served as the Co-Chair of the Employment section of the Washington State Association for Justice, has served several terms on the Board for the Washington Employment Lawyers Association, and speaks regularly at seminars and publishes articles on employment law topics. On a personal note, she recently remodeled and moved back into her childhood home in Bellevue with her husband and their 4 (yup, four; sadly we lost one in January 2010) cats and continues to be a rabid Mariners fan, proving the adage “hope springs eternal.”[December 2011]
