Dennis P. Burns Burns Law Firm, Tacoma, WA Dennis P. Burns is a practicing attorney located in Tacoma, Washington. He was admitted to the Bar in 1996. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Burns served in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1971 as a Hospital Corpsman. Mr. Burns received an Associate of Arts degree from Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona in 1976. In 2004, he was chosen by Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association as the “Lawyer referral Service Attorney of the Year.” In June 2006, Mr. Burns opened his own practice – Burns Law Firm. He primarily represents juveniles and adults in criminal defense matters. He has served as a Judge Pro Tem in numerous Municipal and District courts in Pierce and King Counties.
