Bob Sweat Open Door Solutions, LLP Bob Sweat received his education in Business Administration and Economics at the University of Wisconsin and advancedcertificate work in Taxation, Pension Planning and Employee Benefit Planning at Purdue University. He holds a ParalegalCertificate in Civil Litigation with Computer Emphasis from The Center for Legal Technology. His legal career in Dallasstarted in 1989 as a temp paralegal working on large complex litigations. He later became Director of ParalegalPlacements for attorneys and paralegals; and managed an off-site document coding facility for Support Systems, Inc. A national automated litigation support vendor, American Legal Systems, later hired Bob to manage a large coding facility in Dallas, TX, where he instituted a new quality control program. He also oversaw the imaging business and managed the expanding scanning operation. He was later promoted to Project Management, where he traveled the nationextensively, handling multi-million dollar complex litigations for some of the largest law firms in the nation. Bob is a published author and remains a popular speaker on various topics involving the handling and organization of discovery documents (both paper & e-discovery), in particular, separating the myths from the truth. He is currently a partner and Project Management Specialist with Open Door Solutions, LLP in Dallas, TX. |
