Ward E. Buringrud Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, Seattle Ward E. Buringrud has practiced finance and commercial law at Davis Wright Tremaine since 1993 after establishing a career in the banking industry. He represents lenders in structuring, negotiating and documenting complex secured and unsecured credit transactions. His legal experience includes multi-creditor transactions, syndications, participations, subordinations, intercreditor agreements, and collateral agency arrangements.In addition to front-end loan documentation, Mr. Buringrud represents lenders in structuring, negotiating, and documenting loan restructuring and workouts. He also represents borrowers in negotiating and documenting credit transactions--including secured, unsecured and multi-creditor transactions.Prior to joining Davis Wright Tremaine, Mr. Buringrud spent 11 years with Seattle-First National Bank (now Bank of America, N.A.) honing his financial experience in a variety of positions, including middle market commercial lending and loan workouts.In addition to his practice, Mr. Buringrud speaks on Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, loan documentation and intercreditor agreements.Mr. Buringrud received his J.D. with high honors from the University of Washington School of Law where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.
