Ms. Moonay, Of Counsel at Williams Family Law, P.C., focuses her practice exclusively in the area of family law, where she handles all phases of the negotiation and litigation of domestic relations cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony/spousal support, equitable distribution, pre-nuptial and postnuptial agreements, and related issues. She is well-versed in the financial aspects of divorce cases, including the intricate issues related to complex business valuations and forensic accounting matters. While Ms. Moonay is a skilled litigator with extensive experience handling complex divorce matters, she is also trained in several areas of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and collaborative law. Ms. Moonay was recognized by Thompson Reuters as a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” published in Philadelphia Magazine and Law and Politics Magazine, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” edition from 2006 through 2012. Rising Stars are chosen by their peers and through independent research of Law and Politics as being among the top up-and-coming lawyers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania attorneys receive this honor each year. She also was selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2014. As a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, she serves on the Programming Committee for the Family Law Section. She was previously a Council Member for the Family Law Section and is a member of the Collaborative Law Committee. As a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, she previously served on the Family Law Section Executive Committee and as the Chairperson of the Family Law Section’s Program and Events Committee. In 2010, Ms. Moonay contributed to the book, “Slicing Up the Pie: Property Distribution in Pennsylvania” published by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Press. Additionally, she has been featured as a case note contributor for the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer, a publication of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She has also written articles for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, including “What is Marital Property?” which was published in 2010. Ms. Moonay is also a member of the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court and a member of the Bucks County Bar Association. In addition to her publications, she frequently lectures on a variety family law topics. Ms. Moonay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice, graduating cum laude, from University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor from University of Michigan Law School.
