Randall Sayre Gaming Control Board Randall E. Sayre was appointed to the Gaming Control Board in January 2007 after having served in staff positions with the Board since October 1981. His most immediate assignment preceding his appointment was as Chief of the Investigations Division having been appointed in June 1990.He also served in the Corporate Securities Division responsible for overseeing the pre‐licensing and monitoring of publicly traded registrants and licensees, as well as, serving as Management Services Officer with the Administration Division overseeing functions, such as, Agency Personnel Policy, Training, Internal Investigations, Budget and the Administrative Hearings process. Prior to his employment with the Gaming Control Board.Mr. Sayre served 5½ years on active duty in the U.S. Army, and retired in June 2006 from the Nevada National Guard as Commander, Army Guard, at the rank of Brigadier General. Mr. Sayre graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 1975, and obtained his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, in 1980.
