Sharon Cohen Levin is the Chief of the Asset Forfeiture Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. After graduating from the University of San Diego Law School in 1985, Ms. Levin joined the U.S. Department of Justice as part of the Attorney General’s Honors Program. In 1988, she was appointed as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. In 1991, Ms. Levin joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Since 1996, she has served as the Chief of the Office’s Asset Forfeiture Unit. In 2001, Ms. Levin was awarded the Department of Justice’s John Marshall Award for Outstanding Performance for Asset Forfeiture.
