Thomas S. Burack Commissioner NH Dept. of Environmental Services, Concord Thomas S. Burack is the commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services in Concord, NH. He earned his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1988. Previously he was a partner with the law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, PA in Manchester, NH, where he built a successful practice representing a wide range of manufacturing, service sector and institutional clients in environmental, health and safety, and energy matters. Commissioner Burack is a member of the NHBA’s Environmental & Natural Resources Law Section. He is also Secretary Treasurer of Environmental Council of the States (ECOS), a member of the Board of Directors for the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), and is the Chair for both the NH Climate Change Policy Task Force and NH Energy and Climate Collaborative. 10/09 TL |
