Shortly after graduating from law school in 1988, Elizabeth Lloyd began practicing law with the prominent Philadelphia firm, Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell and Hipple. Elizabeth’s extensive practice ranged from defending physicians, healthcare organizations and other large corporate entities in state and federal courts, to developing and marketing a multidiscipline practice group to assist business owners and physicians who may be at risk for being sued to protect their assets. Elizabeth successfully tried numerous jury cases to verdict. She also regularly handled appeals to the Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania. In addition to vigorously representing clients, Elizabeth was also actively involved in managing firm clients, marketing and recruiting. After giving birth to her third child, Elizabeth decided to transition her career from Center City Philadelphia to a nearby suburb. In 1999, Elizabeth joined the litigation boutique firm, Rubin Fortunato & Harbison where she became a Shareholder. Elizabeth advised business owners and management teams within the securities industry on the litigation risks involved when hiring professionals from the competition. Elizabeth built a national practice by maintaining and growing business relationships within a well-known New York based brokerage firm. Elizabeth routinely enforced, drafted and reviewed agreements designed to protect trade secrets and confidential business information. Elizabeth successfully represented clients in numerous bench trials and preliminary injunction hearings before state and federal courts nationwide and handled numerous arbitrations and mediations before the NASD.Looking to parlay her love for litigation and negotiation to more of a business model yet remain in the legal community, Elizabeth transitioned from private practice to legal consulting. In 2008, Elizabeth joined Ajilon Legal. Ajilon Legal provides managed services, consulting and specialized recruiting to law firms and corporate legal departments both domestically and internationally. In her role with Ajilon, Elizabeth specializes in executive level placements of Partners and Practice Groups. Beyond executive level placements, Elizabeth also consults with law firms and corporate legal departments on all aspects of project management for discovery and document review. Elizabeth is active in her community and supports organizations such as the World Affairs Council. In 2008, she co-chaired the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia’s Election Gala.A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Temple University School of Law, Elizabeth resides in Malvern, PA with her husband, their three children and four dogs, three cats, and two horses. Elizabeth is an avid horticulturalist and nature photographer. She and her husband happily spend their weekends planting in their ever expanding gardens.
