Vincent Payette National Practice Manager of Data Collection Strategies LexisNexis Applied Discovery, Bellevue Vincent Payette is the National Practice Manager of Discovery Consulting services at LexisNexis Applied Discovery. In this roles, he is responsible for working with the company’s clients to identify, search and gather necessary data from relevant company systems and users when a document request is pending or imminent.Mr. Payette has conducted forensic examinations and led data collection engagements at multiple Fortune 100 companies throughout the United States. His recent work has included an FTC investigation involving terabytes of data and allegations of unauthorized access to corporate networks. He also recently assisted a major communications company in developing a litigation preparedness plan and audit of its document retention procedures. Mr. Payette’s experience includes: securities class actions, a wide variety of FTC and SEC investigations, patent infringement claims, trade secret litigation, and antitrust litigation. He provides on-site assistance, and also routinely works with clients remotely to help establish effective and legally defensible data collection procedures.Prior to joining Applied Discovery’s Consulting group, Mr. Payette worked as the lead developer for Applied Discovery’s production software where he played a key role in designing the architecture of the PDF image manufacturing line.
