Jessica W. Dimitrov Partner Dimitrov & Senescu PLLC, Vancouver Jessica W. Dimitrov is a partner in the Vancouver, Washington firm of DIMITROV & SENESCU, PLLC, which was formed in October of 2006 with James D. Senescu, a former Major Crimes Prosecuting Attorney from Clark County. Their practice focuses primarily on cases involving the abuse of vulnerable adults, guardianships and probate litigation. She was instrumental in the formation of the Clark County Vulnerable Adult Task Force and she and Jim Senescu are frequent statewide speakers on issues involving the investigation, presentation and litigation of cases involving financial exploitation and abuse of vulnerable adults, as well as providing training to Washington Adult Protective Services, law enforcement agencies, banking institutions and community groups. She and Jim Senescu played a major role in getting the Washington Vulnerable Adult Protection Act amended in 2007 to provide better, more economical protection for Vulnerable Adults needing immediate orders of protection against abuse, exploitation, and abandonment and recently passed amendments to the “Slayer Statute” contained in RCW 11.84, signed into law in May of 2009, that provides for the disinheritance of those who financially exploit Vulnerable Adults.[June 2010] |
